I picked up this mid-priced MP3 player a few months ago and initially ran into some problems. Getting your computer set up for transferring MP3s can be tricky, but in the end, with some help, it worked out fine.
Also, as mentioned as a con, the connector cable, from the computer to the player became defective after I had been using it. Luckily, the place from where I bought the player was completely cooperative and replaced the cable.
The software that comes with the player is helpful and easy to use and install. Also, the bonus MP3 encoding software is great, though you can download it for free at their home site and it is only a trial version.
As for the player itself, I am very pleased. The sound quality is much better that I had expected, and the different equalizers give some different and distinct sounds. I wish the display was back-lit, but it is easy to read nonetheless.
I am especially satisfied with the expandability of the player. With media cards, it can hold up to 94 MB of music. Awesome for the price -- and it comes with 64 MB at a much lower price than other players with similar MB.
This is a great little player, and once you get used to it and get beyond the initial set up, everything goes smoothly. It's totally stylish, with its see-through neon case, and is perfect to take to the gym.
Plus, if you have ever had a portable CD player with a car-adapter cassette, hang on to it! Just plug it into the headphones port of the MP3 player, and you can listen to your favorite MP3s in your car!
