Plaster dust and crowds at the elevators

Pros:Great view and location, and a heavenly bed.
Cons:Seems permanently under construction. Poor service. A bit on the dingy side.
The Bottom Line: Skip the Westin. I had friends stay at the Hilton, and at least it *had* a lobby.
I was disappointed by the Peachtree. I chose it on a business trip for its location and impressive exterior. As it turns out, those were the only two positive features... OK, the heavenly bed *was* heavenly ;-)
The fitness area was a hallway with a few machines, and cost $7.50 a day! The pool was free but was older than me... and I aged walking the miles through bomb-shelter-like tunnels to reach it.
The Sundial restaurant and bar were fun for the rotating view from a 73-floor height, and the food was passable, but everything was overpriced.
I think what bugged me most was that there was no concession made for the fact that the original lobby and desk floor was under construction, and that there were insufficient elevators for the number of guests elevators. I suspect that the work has been going on so long that the staff no longer notice.
