Some Additions For Your Library (Reply to this comment)
by AinsleyJo
Here are a list of some that will have you crying a little or a lot:
Imitation Of Life
Madame X (1966)
The Last War
The Execution Of Wanda Jean
The Execution Of Private Slovik
Titanic (1953)
Cheaper By The Dozen (the original)
Belles On Their Toes (sequel to the above)
Note: On these two, it's mostly the final moments that will get you crying, but there are lots of laughs along the way to getting there).
Most things Shirley Temple
Edward Scissorhands
Mr. Holland's Opus
Penny Serenade
It's A Wonderful Life
Any variation of A Christmas Carol except for Scrooged
Stella Dallas
Stella
Carousel
Conrack
The Other Sister
Light In The Piazza
Radio
A Lesson Before Dying
There are others, too. Not all tears these jerk are tears of sadness. Many are tears of joy.
Here are some episodes of The Twilight Zone that will move you to tears, too:
The Gift
In The Eye Of The Beholder
and one I can't think of the title of, but I think it's something like Created In His Image, and it's about this guy wrongfully sent to prison when prison meant going to a far-off planet, and how he fell in love with a robot made like a woman and what happened next.
Hope you find these to be helpful in getting it all out!
Hugs!

Oh Dear (Reply to this comment)

You would think all this free expression of emotion would be a Good thing for society! ;) Lots of good tear-jerkers have been suggested in the comment section too, I see. Hmmm, how about: Mermaids, For the Boys, Mask (the one with Cher, not Jim Carey), Les Miserables (with Liam Neeson), The Dollmaker and the classic film Marty?
The most recent film to have me crying my eyes out is probably Message in a Bottle. I ended up stopping the film so I could sob myself out on the floor. Awful! In written works I usually turn to either Cyrano DeBergerac or Flowers for Algernon, but there are film versions of both those works available.

Spoilers... (Reply to this comment)
by divad23
Well, that's about 7 or 8 more movies to tack onto my list of "movies I no longer have to watch for myself to find out how they end".
"What Dreams May Come" was a tear-jerker for me all 3 times I saw it. Also, oddly enough, just about any animated Disney movie - I know they're trying so darn hard to manipulate me emotionally, but I still can't hold it together even though I'd probably be fine if they were real live actors. "Toy Story" - when Buzz is lying on the ground missing an arm after his failed attempt to fly... I just forget he's a toy altogether!
I need to see a shrink...

"My Life" absolutely destroys me everytime I see it-- I would also add Where the Redfern Grows, An Affair to Remember, and Meet Joe Black to the list!

I've seen some of these movies before, and they did make me cry.
I don't really like sad movies, and I will avoid some movies if I know ahead of time that a main character is going to die. I did see Titanic even though I was pretty sure one of them was going to die. The same part of that one gets to me too.
I've only seen Terms of Endearment once and I won't watch that one again. I just can't handle watching it again.
Evening Star made me cry alot too. So did Phonomanon - I know I didn't spell that one right. John Travolta and Kyra Sedgewick were in it. Beauty and the Beast - the Disney version - made me cry the first time I saw it.
Hmm...what else...Forrest Gump. Message in a Bottle.
I know there are other movies that make me cry, but I can't think of any others right now.

I loved your choices. It made me want to cry just remembering those parts.
I know it's silly, but I cry at Toy Story 2, when Jesse is remembering Emily and Sara McLaughlin is singing that song "When She Loved Me." It makes me want to keep my kids little forever.

LoL...I couldn't WAIT for leonardo dicrapio to die. I liked the movie, it just didn't flow well and I didn't really feel connected with the characters. Now Pearl Harbor, THAT movie brought a tear to my eye when Josh Hartnett dies at the end, because I felt a little closer to the characters.

Bridges works for me too, but you've already got the best tearjerker of all time on your list. I've never met anyone who can keep dry eyes all the way through Terms of Endearment.
I'm going to have to check out some of those other movies, though.
