Some trivia... (Reply to this comment)
by BaronSamedi3
Did you know that Every Breath You Take was originally written about nuclear weapons? Strange that people are dancing to it at weddings and proms nowadays. Rush's Closer to the Heart is another highly misinterpreted song. Everyone thinks it's a love ballad, but it's not. It's a song basically about the building of a society, but everyone thinks it's a love song.
November Rain... Does that explain your moniker? That's quite possibly the most beautiful song ever written. And by Guns'n'Roses too... Whodda thunk it?
I better get out before I start rambling. Nice work, keep it up and all those other encouraging messages...
Peace
Nicholas

I read YQ's romance mix, and I think this is enough to give him a run for his $money$! Great stuff, sister! And damn it, it's about time some one gives Selena credit!

NyQ-buddy--
Ease up on that whack, jackhammer beat;
Save Christina for rounds two and three, sucka
Let the soul of the MUSIC warm up the heat...
'Rain's music "makes love;" yours just says "f*** 'er."
[It's the "when" and the "how;" not the "what," NyQ. My meaningless op of course.]
NR-sweety--
Your sultry songs,*("number three" I'd dismiss,)
Show magical passion; a soul full of fun--
You and I live, on some world far from this
Where music, moonlight and feeling are one...
[*Regarding "#3:" No reflection on your fine personal taste; the words are too reminiscent of nasty, personal situations, is all.]
I loved your supportive rationale for each of your soulful selections... There's a lot of romance in the rain.

*smile* A million miles away from my own musical tastes, but that Donna Lewis song holds a rather special place in my own heart, too, due to its summery (and romantic) associations. And as to "November Rain" - well, it was on the strength of an inkling that you might have named yourself after it that I first came to your profile page!
Nice job, gal.
