and slowly a door swings out and open toward you as darkness spills up and floods the very presence of your being and it's as if you could just dip deep down into this vastness with the simple cup of your bare hand to bring it up to your sweet soft lips and stolid tongue to just gently sip and taste at it for a only little while and some drums fade in and out of some strength of light that escapes with the darkness as that door creaks open it's a light that fades through a rainbow of red yellow green orange lavender peach and blue and it's like standing on the precipice of memory or crying out at the edge of oblivion where sheltered hearts shatter and sprinkle slowly down into burned and scared hillsides (c) November 17, 2002, Steven H.
