Huge Waste of Time ...
I placed an order last night for a free phone and T-Mobile service. Today, Wirefly informed me there was a problem with my order. After multiple calls, with huge wait times, I got a hold of someone, who then put me on hold again.
From the sound of person's voice, and the background chattering, it was easy to tell this was a boiler room operation in India. They informed me that T-Mobile was having trouble accessing my credit information because there was a freeze on my credit information. No real solutions were offered, and I spent hours trying to investigate with the credit bureaus, ordering credit reports, etc. (when I finally got a hold of someone at Experian, I was assured there was nothing wrong - I didn't think so, my FICO is 770!)
When I called Wirefly after this pointless and time-wasting investigation, I had the same clueless reception from the call center people (who did in fact try to be courteous and helpful - they just had no idea what to do so remedy the problem).
After reading the horror stories on here, I decided to cut my losses (lost time!) and cancel the order. To Wirefly's credit, they immediately complied with and gave written confirmation of my request.
Bottom line: This may be a good deal if your order is turnkey - but if you require any sort of customer service, you're on your own.
