I am not a big fan of any sport related games. Naturally, SSX wouldn't be on my "to buy" list at all. The reason I brought it is because I need a game to go with my purchase of the PS2 back in April of 2001. Seems like SSX is the only game that worth 50 dollars to me at that time.
When I received the game, I immediately popped it into my brand new PS2. The first thing I noticed are the dazzling graphic and sound effect. What comes to my mind next was, "The actual gameplay isn't this good right?". After a few mins later, I found out exactly just how wrong I was. The graphic and sound effect are something I never seen from any console game before. I could hardly believe my eyes and ears!
This game is definitely a must buy. It clearly demonstrate the power of PS2. Either if you are a sport fan or not, the effect from this game will get you hooked. A DVD version of this game is due out soon. With better graphic, sound effect, more people, and course, it sounds like another winner.
