The Blamelessness of America

If anyone flames me for writing this, remember that I didn't write it. The dude with the eyepatch did it. I wrote it only if you like it.

Hey, you've inspired me! I think I should sue everyone and everything that has ever irked me for even a thousandth of a second ... I wouldn't mind retiring at only 26 with a nice income of settlements every few weeks or so. Sounds nice!!! Why, yesterday I wasn't able to find what I wanted at a store, and that irked me for about a millionth of a second... how much would a millionth of a second get you nowadays in a court of law????

But the dog ate my keyboard. Can't be my fault. Hell no. I'm just a victim. I blame the Humane Society.

You said what I have wanted to say for a long time. But you said it better than I could have. Then again, that's probably my parent's fault.

Should you sue? Well, that depends. Did the guy who looked at you have a cyborg eye? Did a laser shoot out of it when he looked at you?

If not, you'd be better off not suing.

You echo my sentiments exactly! Every frivolous lawsuit that is allowed to see the inside of a courtroom is adding to the inability of American's to take personal responsibility. Hot Coffee anyone? What about the chick that just won against Philip Morris cuz she smoked all her life and they even had folks testify that she said numerous times 'gee, I should quit smoking!'. Yet she won. Not her fault she chose to smoke. ayeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

GADS this is one of my more heated soap box issues. Our court system is rewarding folks for not taking responsibility for their own idiotic actions. Unreal.

Fantastic article!
