Is it a flag, is it a town, is it a patron saint? No it's a beer.

St Andrew's Ale Hoppy light good (Reply to this comment)

St. Andrews fills the bill.
I prefer a light hoppy ale in the summer. I really liked Fuller's India Pale Ale but either my retailer stopped carrying it or Fuller's discontinued it and their ESB is made with corn syrup which leaves a gooey slimy feel in the mouth.

St Andrews has stepped in the fill an otherwise empty void. It's light flavorful and hoppy. It's the pefect ale.

After St Andrews I like La Fin Du Monde.

Ah Belhaven..... (Reply to this comment)
by Bruguru, Bruguru is a Lead on Epinions in Restaurants & Gourmet
An old favorite of mine. I remember years ago when I worked in a liquor store a fellow came up to me and asked about the Belhaven. "A kindered spirit!", I thought to myself. A fellow beer enthusiast, a budding brew maven, a new guru of brew......

"You've had Belhaven before?" I asked.

"Well no," he replied. "But the sign says it's a $1.99"

"Oh no," I said, "That's $7.99".

"Ohhhh," he replied, picked up a 12-pack of Natural Light and proceeded to the register.

It's not easy being a beer geek.
