Good, if you don’t take bath’s/don’t ever have guests /like adjusting things

Pros:good for cottages, one person house holds, for spatially challenged areas.
Cons:Horrible: Output GPM, COST of Unit, installation, maintenance.
The Bottom Line: If you meet my recommendations, then its good for you.
I've installed one in my home also. At first I was satisfied, but now I have grown annoyed with the heater. No one else in the household can use the hot water while youre in the shower, or else you will get doused with cold water. Also, it takes years to fill up the bath tub. This unit is not ideal for replacing a 40 gal tank, as it states on the box. I should have realized this once I saw the water inlet was 1/2 inch. This is made for situations where: There is one person in the house hold, who doesnt have company (ever); maybe in a cottage situation where you dont want to drain the tank every time you leave; people who dont take baths (unless you want to take 30mins to fill the tub); may be an idea to supply a part of the house that it far off from the main water heater line, i.e. in a bathroom upstairs far away from the water heater thats in the basement.
Overall, this thing is not ideal for replacing a 40 gal water heater. Note: You always have to adjust the temperature as the seasons change.
