Pros: A whole lot more than email!
Cons: A virtual meat market.
The Bottom Line: The email feature (one of many features College Club offers)is below average. Nothing special here.

I discovered College Club about a year ago while surfing the net for something new and fun. At first I LIVED at this site! Features such as chat, member profiles (fun to look through), and instant messenger kept me quite busy for hours. But, then after about a month of that, it became monotonous and boring. I guess it was the same ol thing everyday.
The chats became grounds for cat fights between members, the member profiles started to look more like the same things, and the instant messenger became a distraction when a dozen strangers would page you to "check you out" as if you were in a meat market. Though, I venture to say, with a bunch of college age people, most of whom are single, College Club really IS a meat market.
The email service itself is below average. It runs slow, there isn't much in the way of great features for it, and it seems almost useless unless you use it for connecting with other members in College Club.
One feature that I still enjoy is the daily poll they have. You can discuss that day's poll topic on one of the many message boards that line College Club. Though, with their new layout you may not be able to find the boards on the first visit.
College Club also offers...clubs! Anyone can start a club about ANYTHING, though most of the clubs that are in use now are sexual in nature. Like I said, this site is a meat market.
A great place to hang out if you don't mind the constant barrage of sexual and VERY single guys and gals.
