"Without God All Things Are Possible"

Written: Jul 05 '01
Pros:Heavy duty philosophy edited from several of her books.
Cons:None
The Bottom Line: Unlike many of today's popular philosophers which serve to cripple the image and existence of man, Ayn Rand's unique (but straightforward) philosophy (objectivism) is empowering.

Ayn Rand advocates using reason as the only guide to correct thinking and observation. With this premise, she tears through the irrational icons, slogans, and direction society is embracing. In this age, her philosophy is even more important as the enemy is alive with full force. The enemies are irrationality, mysticism, religion, selflessness, guilt, incompetence of man, and self-sacrifice; all of which are dead ends, leading to self-destruction. "For The New Intellectual" will help you identify that money is not the root of all evil but the root of all good; liars and other "second-handers" live for the external acceptance from others rather than personal gain and never obtain their goals; Christianity (amongst other popular religions) will destroy man's competency by drowning them in guilt and fear-- and ultimately end in the worship of death; amongst many other important issues. This book will help you become a better person, goal-oriented and objective. Unlike many of today's popular philosophers which serve to cripple the image and existence of man, Ayn Rand's unique (but straightforward) philosophy (objectivism) is empowering.
