Paul Enger!?! (Reply to this comment)

Ever hear of a playwright named Paul Enger?

He has had various plays staged off-off-Broadway.

One of the ones I know of that he's had staged at Noel Coward Theatre within the past 20 years has been something called Vestigial Parts.

He's had other plays staged at other places throughout the USA.

He's also a journalist who works part-time for CBS, and he's done lots of scripts for places like The History Channel and a radio program sponsored by The American Bible Society.

The way I came to know him is that he taught me in a correspondence course in the early 1980s that was given through Newspaper Institute Of America's Writers' Institute.

He's quite a person, and I'd like to see him get more attention re: his writings, as he's very sweet and deserving.

Let me know if you've ever heard of him.

Warmly,
AJ :o)

I had the same problem placing more than one review in a specific section. Someone turned me on to this section a long time ago and if it still works you can post multiple reviews there. Be sure to save the URL somewhere where you can get at it.

This review took me back to when I lived in Manhattan ages ago.

Happy Holidays,

Hey there, Phil,

After looking at A.R.'s comment, I also looked under 'destinations'. At least there you would make some pennies, right ? But I didn't see anything either for this piece.

And that 'personal tour' thing is a great idea. Us poor farm boys would love a guided tour and would be willing to lay down some serious coin for a great host and tour. Surely someone in the area is doing this already? They say the way to learn a business is to work for someone else for a while...:-)

And I thought after I had posted that I should have noted your pride in your son and his accomplishments...we should all have such pride in our children...:-)

Thanks for your words Tom. It's funny, I have been thinking of starting some kind of a personal tour of New York City business. I love the town and there is so much to show and it's so diverse.

I am in the city at least four or five times a month with my entertainment business. This last weekend I was at the Pierre Hotel and The Chelsie Piers.

Thanks again Tom.

I'm not quite sure about that. I have already written under New York City once, so I don't believe I can put it there. New York State is also filled by me and it's just too broad a destination for this piece anyway. None of the places I have in the review have their own spot either. I will look to have some as Radio City Music Hall, Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick's Cathedral, and Greenwich Village added to NY destinations. If you or anybody else have any suggestions please let me know either here or through an Email.
For now I am quite happy with writing about a wonderful evening I had with my wife, seeing some great sites, and then watching my son play out with his band.
Thanks,

Phil
