What can I say, gator is SPYWARE!!!

Written: Jul 05 '01
Pros:Fills in your passwords if it pops up
Cons:Its spyware, slows down computer, doesn't pop up, annoying
The Bottom Line: Do not use gator if you can help it, there are too many cons and not enough pros to make it worthwhile.

The problem with gator is that it slows down the computer, it pops up at the wrong time, and its spyware. If you don't know what spyware is, then you are not alone. Spyware is used to find out about your activities on your computer. It then shows offers on certain things. How this relates to you, if you are an adult and you go to adult sites, when your child is on the computer gator just may pop up with an offer at some adult site. This is bad for the minds of the children! Also, gator just chooses not to pop up sometimes. I've waited for it to pop up and fill in passwords but it never does. Sometimes it does will in the password but then the password is wrong. This is just peachy. Then on top of that, gator just slows down the computer. You can close it, but then what is the sense of having it at all? To top it all off, gator is plain annoying. Offers at all times during web-surfing. Just there out of the blue, and then you have to close it. Gator is not for everyone, but if you must try it, go ahead. But i'm just saying that gator is not good for anyone.
