I got this monitor from buy.com's clearance section for $250 with free shipping. SO it was a great buy first of all. The image is very clear and it is a flat screen (not an LCD screen, but the actual screen is flat). I think this aperature grill adds allot to the experience with the monitor. It just makes the image look that much better.
I had one problem with it where the image started to jitter a little in the bottom right of the screen. I gave IBM a call about it and they replaced it in a few days. They paid for all shipping. I haven't had a single problem with the replacement.
It supports a max resolution of 1600 x 1200 with high refresh rates at that resolution.
