Everything else was well-written- it was only the storing formulas bit that was not the best advice.

As you can see, I have now rated your review- I saw that you put my tip about learning vocab in your review :)

Thank you for your advice! I really appreciate it. See if there's is anything else you feel can be improved.

I agree with Becky- you have no way of knowing what vocab will be on the test, so flashcards are not that helpful. However, word-a-day calendars expose you to tons of new words. Also, learning Latin roots helps as well- you don't have to take Latin, but learning Latin helps you guess the meaning of words effectively.

Regarding cheating- the test is the same (at least it was when I took it back in 1997) for everyone, but the sections are in different order.

Also, I was curious as to why you cautioned readers against cheating, but suggested that people sneak formulas into their calculators- that is also cheating. Unfortunately, I don't feel comfortable rating this (well-written!) review if that part is in there.

I took the SATs in 7th grade, as well. Don't worry: your score will go up a lot when you take them for real in a couple of years. I don't think studying flashcards of vocabulary is that important, to be honest, because the same words are rarely repeated from year to year. Just practicing taking the test is the best way to go, I think.
