TV Authority (TVA) Web site showed set I wanted in stock. E-mailed to be sure it actually was. Within a few hours, return e-mail said it was in stock. Ordered 11-10-06. Credit card charged 11-13-06. No further contact from TVA, despite my requesting 4 times that TVA provide me with the shipping date, name of shipper and tracking number. During this time, TVA Web site still showed from 13 to 25 units of the set I ordered to be "in stock." After 31 days of waiting (without any contact), I cancelled the order. CA Consumer law says TVA was to credit my card with the refund within 7 days. TVA did not comply with its legal requirements. Filed complaints with FTC, BBB and CA Los Angeles County Consumer Affairs Office.
TVA is adept at taking orders, charging your credit card, then not shipping the product. I will not deal with them again. A low price for something is not actually 'low' when the product isn't shipped.
