Pros: Great FPS, heat sinks on DDR-RAM

The Bottom Line: This card will handle any game out on the market at resolutions that will blow your mind.

| mjgreene550's Full Review: Hercules 3D Prophet II GTS 32MB |
I bought this card about a year ago and this thing just plain fly’s in games like Unreal Tournament, and Quake. I usually run resolutions at 1280x1024 in 32 bit color and I stay above 30 FPS. This is mostly in part due to using nVidia's new Detonator 3 drivers. I found that I got better performance from using the nVidia drivers instead of the Hercules' ones. The one game I have huge problems with is, Need for speed : Porsche unleashed. This game will crash very often. According to Electronic Arts (Developers of Need For Speed) say that it is a known issue. The software that was included was very easy to install, it comes with an auto run setup for easy use. The demo's are worth running, they are just amazing to watch. The card supports 4X AGP which is a plus, however I doubt this card will ever have the need for it due to it's 5.2GB/Sec bandwidth. Whereas AGP is only a little over a 1GB/Sec. I was satisfied with the instructions that came with the card. Installing was very easy to do. I had no problems at all. The total install took me about 5 minutes. I would defiantly recommend this card to someone who is upgrading or building a new system. When new drivers come out it's like getting a new card every time. So you don't have to worry about having out dated technology as long as nVidia keeps pumping out those awesome drivers.
