Tower is big, but they still try to be the best

I've ordered from Tower Hobby for several years now, for my own hobby needs as well as those of my two teenage sons.
I've probably had at least three dozen transactions with them, and almost every one has been shipped in a very timely manner with accurate order fulfillment.
For me, the true test of a quality company is how they handle problems. The one major problem I had with them occurred last Christmas ('05), when I ordered three items for one of my sons. When the box arrived, the smallest and most expensive item was not there: it had been invoiced, but not shipped.
When I called Customer Service, I was amazed at how well they handled the issue. First, after only a reasonable attempt to verify the problem, they accepted my claim that they had not shipped the item. They were extremely apologetic, and immediately overnight shipped a replacement, at their cost.
Perhaps my long order history with the company helped, and maybe a first-time customer might have had a harder time convincing them of the problem, but I doubt it. They have always been professional and responsive.
The only thing I wish they would do differently is abandon their discount programs of coupons, special order numbers, special catalog offerings, etc., and just lower their basic prices across the board. But this is a minor issue. Their prices are generally very reasonable, and even if they are not the cheapest, I am willing to a pay a little extra to deal with an honest, quality business.
