Even After Christmas It's Fun to Read and Remember ! (Reply to this comment)

I just stopped in to look at some of your writing.
Thanks for making the effort with the humor. Even after Christmas it's great to have a chuckle or two and remember the wonderful season we just shared with family and friends.

I'm sorry that this Christmas was hard on you, for whatever reason, but I certainly enjoyed this modern interpretation of that favorite old poem. Thanks for sharing it.

Delightful!!! (Reply to this comment)
by AinsleyJo
I wish it WERE Christmas again, and I hadn't heard all of the sad news that I heard yesterday:
Uncle Don's passing, ditto with my cousin's husband, my "adopted" aunt's falling and breaking her hip, my stepcousin's worsening physical health and dementia.
Of course, the upside to all of this is that death came as a blessing to Uncle Don & Tom; Aunt Bev's chances of recovery (walking again) seem to be as close to 100% as one could diagnose; and Henry has a loving and dedicated wife who takes great care of him and gives him a wonderful quality of life.
I recently woke up from a wonderful dream that yesterday had just been a bad dream--only to find out that it wasn't. :`o(
This delightful story brought me some laughs and warm, fuzzy, mushy feelings this morning--and I needed that!!!
Thanks for sharing@
Hugs!

1. Gasp! Experimental days?! My entire vision of you has just been turned upside down. I thought that you were pure as the driven snow.
2. I swear (when I was six years old) that I saw Santa and his reindeers flying over my house. I could barely sleep that night!
3. Merry X-Mas!!!
