i purchased my i1000 in december of 2000. i bought it because i was fed up with sprint and there service, kept getting cut-off and terrible area coverage. my old job used nextel phones and everyone seemed to like them. so do i. ive never had a problem with the phone and the service coverage. i also like the 2-way radio feature. i keep in touch with my friends who have them instantly.

my only gripes are that the battery life is short when using the phone frequently and it is a little big and heavy but not bad at all. i especially like the hands-fee feature when i driving or when im talkin to someone and i dont want to keep the phone by my ear. i just put the phone down and talk. sound is clear and i can hear someone talking no problem and they can hear me.

i purchased the twin-pack at staples and they had a special where i got both phones for $20.00 ($10.00 a phone) i gave the other phone to a friend for christmas, he was happy :). i didnt tell him how much i spent either :) that special closed the deal for me.
