No Customer Service, No Subscription, Awaiting Refund

After placing an order on May 15, 2006, on MagsForLess, I have finally canceled the order today having never received an issue. In August of 2006 I contacted MagsForLess to inquire about the delay and received a prompt response telling me there was a problem with the publisher and it has been resolved. Furthermore, for my hassle I could choose another subscription free. I promptly e-mailed my response thanking them and indicating my free choice. Again toward the end of November of 2006 I e-mailed to inquire about the original subscription as well as the promised free subscription. I received a prompt response telling me it was still within the guaranteed 12-week ship period (they were starting it from the first inquiry, not the original order date). They furthermore made no mention of the free subscription but offered me a 10% discount on a subscription of my choice. A discount, by the way, that is available to anyone who is savvy enough to look up coupon codes online. Last week, Jan. 3, I inquired again about both the purchased and free subscription, considering I was now at the end of the 12-week period. I received no response and upon investigation today discovered the subscription had once again been submitted to the publisher with a "guaranteed" ship date between Jan. 22 and Feb. 22. The originally offered free subscription had disappeared with "no record" and I was offered the same 10% discount. I have canceled the order and just hope I get my refund ... I'm not holding my breath. DO NOT USE MAGSFORLESS!! Not only is their customer service attrocious, but also they have no phone number. It all must be done via e-mail and Web site submission. "Poor service" is an understatement. "No service" would be too kind. Their service is beyond indescribably awful! DO NOT USE MAGSFORLESS!!
