Pros: Miaka's declaration of "Boobies!" in #45
Cons: Not much.
The Bottom Line: The bad guys really need to learn to stop screwing around and just kill the good guys.

We only have one volume left after this one. Getting near the grand finale, arent we? Well then lets summon up some gods! (and demons, and monsters
)
The Deal In This Volume:
Still searching for the Shinzaho of Byakko, there are many more obstacles to overcome. Trials test Miaka and Tamahomes love for the umpteenth time, monsters desire to destroy everyone, the Seiryu Seven is right on their heels, and huge surprises awaits them all should their goals be accomplished
or not accomplished
Meanwhile, Miakas brother Keisuke and his friend Tetsuya search for answers behind the mystical book of The Universe of the Four Gods and make some startling discoveries.
Music, Animation, Voices:
As per usual we still have our old school music for the time the anime was made. Works well in the series in all the situations. Sad, action, what have you. The opening song and closing songs are always the same, except for a few select situations. I like them both theyre peppy and when you decipher a few lyrics its fun to sing along a little to.
Animation is still fabulous. Not gonna change. So no worries. I wish Miaka and Yui would be given different outfits more often, because no one in their right mind runs around on big journeys wearing a skirt and jacket. Seeing the Byakko Seven or at least some of them, was a lot of fun too. Love the detail and distinctive style everyone has. Not to mention a very important guest in #45.
The voices are still fine, both English and Japanese. Tasuki I never truly got into, English-wise. Japanese voice wins him, hands down. And it sounds a lot like whoever voices Hotohori in English does Tatara as well, but frankly Im too lazy to look. Otherwise, were good to go. No one ever really feels seriously off or incorrect for their character. At most, it may just seem weird. I like the Japanese version over the English one though. Everything seems to work out better.
What Youll Like:
Just like it was cool seeing some of the Genbu Warriors, its an extra treat with the Byakko Warriors. The extra little storyline was fun and I really liked Tataras power. Things are good in this volume, they seem to kick it up a notch. Despite Tamahomes aggravating bit, all is good. Plenty of little twists and turns as well. #43 is a good one.
Tokaki of the Byakko Seven was a hot guy. No wonder Subaru hooked up with him.
I also like how Miaka gets when she sees Tamahome dressed up a certain way. Middle school girl or not, we ladies do tend to get all excited and googly-eyed when we see our men lookin hot.
What Will Annoy You:
Suboshi has issues. Or maybe he really is just a little over the edge. Still, you think seeing his brother like that again would clear a few things up. Dolt.
As for Tamahome I hope the whole We cant be together thing is for the lst time. Its getting very old. The same thing over and over. Your love cant be that true if you two keep pulling that kind of crap. Geez. Too much drama takes away from the actual drama. Especially when it comes one incident right after another.
Warning! A warning for all you parents out there I dont know what you allow your child to see and not see, so Ill just point out that there is a tiny bit of swearing, violence (blood, death, etc.), a bit of cross-dressing (although that was basically in the first half of the series), and some nudity/sexual content. Its up to you.
Volume 7:
40: Deceptive Love
41: Sunlight of Rebirth
42: Unbreachable Wall
43: Farewell Reunion
44: Moment of Battle
45: Divergent Light
46: The Young Man of Reality
I wonder if any of the other girls had to go through this kind of craziness.
