Top 15 Favorite Songs Ever - the most diverse list you will ever see*under construction*Dec 30 '02 (Updated Sep 20 '05) Write an essay on this topic. The Bottom Line Wow, that took a LONG time to finish. Now I am by no means any kind of music connoisseur, but I do enjoy listening to good music, and believe it or not I do know a thing or two about music. Now, not enough to rule the Music world like some people but enough to get me by in the world and to enjoy what I can listen to. I'm sure there are going to be people who agree with me, people who don't agree with me, people who wonder why all the "great" songs of 2002 aren't on my list, and then there will be people who absolutely hate me and all that I love. That's all right though, because I've got my music to keep me happy. Amazed artist: Lonestar Everytime our eyes meet, This feelin' inside me, Is almost more than I can take, Baby when you touch me, I can feel how much you love me, And it just blows me away, I've never been this close to anyone or anything, I can hear your thoughts, I can see your dreams, I don't know how you do what you do, I'm so in love with you, It just keeps gettin' better, I want to spend the rest of my life, With you by my side, forever and ever, Every little thing that you do, Baby I'm amazed by you. Why do I like it: Amazed is on my 25 greatest songs list for two reasons; 1]It is an amazing song 2]The lyrics to this song always make me think about loving someone, being mesmorized by them, wanting to do everything in my power to make them happy. Brick House artist: Commodores She's a brick----house Mighty might just lettin' it all hang out She's a brick----house The lady's stacked and that's a fact, ain't holding nothing back. She's a brick----house She's the one, the only one, who's built like a amazon [pronounced am-a-ka-zawn] We're together everybody knows, and here's how the story goes. Why do I like it: I've got a question, who WOULDN'T like this brilliant song, eh? I'm sure there are a few, but I like it simply because it's got a very catchy tune, and is really fun to sing. Don't tell me you've never walked around the house singing "She's a brick, hoooooouse". Cats in the Cradle artist: Guns 'n' Roses And the cat's in the cradle and the silver spoon, Little boy blue and the man on the moon. "When you comin' home?" "Son, I don't know when. We'll get together then. You know we'll have a good time then." Well, my son turned ten just the other day He said, "Thanks for the ball, Dad. Come on, let's play. Could you teach me to throw?" I said, "Not today. I got a lot to do." He said, "That's okay." And he walked away and he smiled and he said, "You know, I'm gonna be like him, yeah. You know I'm gonna be like him." Why do I like it: I like Cats and the Cradle because it is a great song too listen too, with both a catchy tune and also some meaningful lyrics that remind me a lot of me and my father's relationship when I was younger. Halo artist: Soil (RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA....) I tell ya, I must have listened to that thing for hours and hours on end, just to that one song. That summer was also when I had met my current 3 year crush (3 years since then), and her and I would listen to it while painting this old house in a pretty bad neighborhood.
