Convenience - Charge lasted approx 3 minutes and that was after sitting on the charger over night. And waiting for it to charge again (HOURS) every time it died was a lesson in patience I don't have time for!
Performance - I was expecting powerful suction from this tough-looking vacuum and although it did suck up little piles of crumbs, etc...By the time I was done picking up by hand those things Dyson recommends you don't vacuum (pieces of paper, paper clips, the dog etc.) I had to wonder if I wouldn't be faster just using my regular upright.
Design - Maybe the reason it only runs for 3 minutes at a time is to give your wrist recovery time between jobs because this cool-looking sucker is heavy. It's bag less feature sounds good but considering how short a time this handheld runs it would take at least a month to fill so what's the point?
I paid $149.00 for this handheld BECAUSE it was a Dyson. Their uprights have gotten such good reviews with the public I was expecting nothing but the best. What I got was an increase in my electricity bills this month, and the annoyance of returning to a store simply to return a product.
