Absolutely wonderful observations about the year.
Re: Heather Headly...I bought her cd the week it came out. She looked familiar, she sounded familiar but it wasn't until a friend of mine told me why, that I remembered. I caught her in a performance at Fort Wayne's Civic Theater (my home town). I thought she had a beautiful voice but I had no clue that she would record a mainstream type cd.
Re: Heather B - I think that you are the second person that has mentioned that her latest cd is fantastic. I have put off listening to it due to the RW hype but now, you've forced me to get a copy :).

excellent look at 2002 - I agree with about 85% of what you said. ESPECIALLY THIS: "I won’t say much because Nas is dangerously close to overexposure" - I can't WAIT to review God's Son in a day or so.
Also, thanks for addressing that whole "anti-Britney" situation, people are making me sick hating on her and acting like Avril Lavigne and Pink and the whole lot are the second coming of Jesus and the disciples...good stuff - write more!!!
