This diet program is expensive, however so are a lot of other programs that provide special goods, or services. For example the weekly cost of this program versus weight watchers is pretty much the same. It is much less than the herbal diets or jenny or nutra system. Preparing and eating everyday foods is a good point of this program. The bars are not necessary, as the Zone bar is a very good substitute. I found the sales pressure easy to overcome, if you do a bit of research and use some common sense. Every weight loss program has these pressures. The other point I enjoy about the program is having to account to someone besides myself, and the privacy of the weigh in sessions. Three times a week puts the onus on you to be true to the program. I have followed the program, exercised regularly, and even cheated a few times. I have lost 25lbs in 5 weeks. It works, and I now know that I can have a healthy lifestyle that I can easily continue after my program is completed. The mix of high protein and low fat is a sensible approach to weight loss as well as just a healthy way to eat. I know now that the odd restaurant meal can be squeezed in, but the days of greasy Mcfood are past. I guess it just boils down to what do I want.
