I hate my period...I hate everything about it. I always have!
It is messy, it smells, the products are uncomfortable and give me rashes, it ruins your panties.........on and on............

I first saw the instead product on infomercials several years ago. It took a few years for it to hit mainstream stores. (Now the only place I can find it is Wal-Mart!) I tried it immediately on the recommendation of a co-worker, and I love this product. It great for busy women, and I love the fact that I can have sex during my period - I know my bf loves it!

It has changed somewhat recently - the ring is harder and not as flexible and the cup is more like hard plastic. I notice that it is a little tougher to get a tight seal and have had some leakage on occasion but not much. It can be a little difficult to go to the bathroom with them as it pushes against the muscles. I also notice that it helps if I push it back into place after going to the bathroom

Removal can be the only downside - it can be difficult to hook your finger under the rim and messy when you do get it removed, I try to do it when I am in a shower whenever I can. If I need to do it "on the fly" - not recommended - be sure you have some baby wipes or a few damp paper towels (DO NOT FLUSH) to clean up with. Do attempt near a white rug unless you are an expert - LOL! (I made a mess at my Aunt & Uncles B&B by mistake - oops!)

Overall though - if I am going to have a hectic day - this is what I use so that I don't have to worry about it all day.
