My Brother Made Me Do ItJan 19 '03 Write an essay on this topic.The Bottom Line Writer's Corner serves its purpose. You know how it is, you have an older brother and it seems like you just can’t get away with anything. He is always harping at you, making suggestions, trying to get you to change your life, improve yourself. Come on, you know what I’m talking about. Well in this case Gungian just wouldn’t shut his trap, he said "your readers have a right to know" so at his urging [insert insistence] and the constant harping from Susidee34, I have decided to write this little piece. If you folks are like me, you don't go to a persons profile page too often. I mean with reviews coming to you in a click of refresh on Peter's notification site poof instant updates. Now this little posting has nothing to do with the notification site actually, just a little blurb reporting what will be on my profile page. As most of you know I am a nurse and last July I was injured on my job. Thanks to the fast action of Workers Compensation, they are finally going to do the required surgery to repair my shoulder. What this means is, I won’t be able to type [although Susi says it really doesn’t matter because I don’t use both hands anyway] and not being able to type means I won’t be able to leave comments on reviews. Leaving comments is one of the great joys I have on this site and I didn’t want anyone to wonder why I was hitting and running and not commenting. I am going to miss that aspect, shhh maybe I'll try, don't tell Gung or Susi. Please don’t think I’m hitting for a sympathy vote here. If you know me at all you know I would hate that. Instead, I just wanted to let you all know I’m still rating and I’ll store up my comments for another time, unless I can dictate them to Susi [hint, hint]. Fear not my friends you have a week and a half left to endure my freedom of commenting. Plus I have a review or two in the bank, if I can refrain from posting them ahead of time. So, until I’m a two handed monkey again, keep writing and I’ll keep rating.  |
