I have a son with leukemia and I got the regional plan with Alltel so that we could stay in contact. The service has been terrible. It frequently doesn't work when out of the immediate dialing area. Additionally, I have to go in and dispute my bill every month due to overcharging. Even after contacting the regional director, the problems persist. Telephone customer service representatives are frequently rude. I can't wait until my contract ends this month. I would love to file a class action lawsuit and do not believe I am the only person out there who is having these problems.
