I have personally tried almost every paid-to-(something) site on the Internet, and in my journeys I came across Search Cactus.
What is Search Cactus?
Search Cactus is a web site that pays you to use their search engine. Certain links that come up as a result of your various searches will have an "Eye" icon pictured next to them. By clicking these links, your account will be credited $.02. Once you earn $20.00, you can request a check to be sent to you.
What are the other ways to make money with Search Cactus?
There are two other ways to make money: referrals, and "Quick Cash."
Referrals: Search Cactus will pay you 10% of any money your referrals make by using the paid links in their search engine, as well as an additional dollar when they receive their first payout.***
***Note: This extra dollar may or may not be part of the program at this time. As of the time of writing this review, I could not locate anything on it, but when I signed up a few months ago, the program was still in place.
Quick Cash: Basically, just about all paid programs on the net have some form of "get-paid-to-sign-up" program. Basically, this program is the same as that of programs like Spedia, Net Flip, InboxDollars, and many others. To make money this way, simply click on the various icons and sign up for the respective programs, follow the directions, and your account will be credited anywhere from $.20 (for programs like email newsletters) to $15.00 (for gimmick-laden credit cards)
How easy is the search engine to use?
The search engine itself is quite simple to use, but finding links is somewhat difficult. Usually, if you use a very common word, the first one or two links will be paid links, and the rest simply search results. (not all categories have paid links)
Are there any limitations to earning money?
As for the referral program and the Quick Cash, there are not any limits to earning money, but you are only allowed to click 10 paid links per 24hrs.
Are there any tips to using this service?
1)If you are just messing around, searching randomly when you are bored, I suggest you use this service because if you are not that concerned with search results, why not get paid to click on them?
2)Remember the search keywords that led to the most paid links. Certain words like money, free, email, affiliate, sex, etc. will bring more paid links than complex, intricate searches. The key point to remember is to only use simple searches.

Finally, the major con to this program is this: The simple fact is that there are very few paid links compared to those that are not paid, and to reach the $20.00 payout will take some time if you do not have extensive referrals or sign up for a lot of Quick Cash offers.
I recommend this program mainly because it is better than its sister programs Clickwage and Epilot, and about on an equal level with NetFlip.
