For those of you living under a rock (like me a year ago!), Origins has lots of natural but luxurious, high-quality skin care products almost anyone can pamper themselves with.

the actual Origins store in my most frequented mall. Yes, you just read that right...an ENTIRE store of Origins.

Nice intro for those not already acquainted.

Wow! Thanks for the long comment :-)

I've never tried using NADM and C&B together, but it sounds worth a shot! I'm usually SUPER oily, especially in the summertime, but in the winter, I can get by with using some of the Origins combo stuff instead.

Always nice to meet another fan!

I'm a Origins Fan too! (Reply to this comment)

Yep! I am a Origins Fan too!

It all started about 6 months ago when my sis got me to try the Check and Balances Frothy Wash. Staying in Singapore, I am paying in SG$ almost X 2 price of what is the listed US$ sell price.

But Hey! It's worth it. I am currently using many of its skincare products: Check and Balances, Never a Dull Moment Cleanser and Scrub, Night-a-Mins, Clear Improvement Mask, United State Balancing Tonic, Make A Difference, Peace of Mind... and the list goes on.

The products works great on my combination skin. Now I am searching for a perfect liquid foundation that can counter those oh-so-get-easily-get-shiny spots on my face and hopefully that Origins will be able to give me an answer? I have tried way numerous brands/types - Covergirl, Maybelline, Neutrogena, Clinic, Prescriptives Custom Blend, Loreal etc but have never been able to find one that will blend really nice and stays matte for at least 3-4 hours! It doesn't help at all either with the local tropical weather.

P.S. I don't know about you but doesn't using Checks and Balances gives you a firm and really clean and never dried up feeling results and a nice moisture feel after using Never a Dull Moment? Seems like it works opposite for Honestly

Of course I don't like Origins. Didn't you read my title?? LOL

They DO have a few products I've tried that I don't care for, but for the most part, I've lucked out on what I've found.

Tell me about it!! No wonder I'm BROKE now :-(

But once you use the "good stuff", you just can't go back! I balked for a LONG time and refused to pay salon prices for shampoos and conditioners too.....until now. Can't go back there, either!

Next time you are in Chicago, you will have at lest 2 chances to fuel your fire for this great product line. Our famous Marshall Field's department store has an Origins boutique within the cosmetic department. And Origins has their own space in The Water Tower shopping mall on Michigan Avenue. Thanks for all of the great info! ~ Deborah

Yes, the prices are expensive. But trust this otherwise budget conscious shopper...Origins is SO worth it!!

For me, shopping online is actually CHEAPER than going to the stores, as I get free shipping and no taxes charged in my state. So at least I DO save a little that way :-)

Thanks for commenting....

I've always avoided these products just because of the high cost. Now, maybe I'll try the samples to see what really works for me. It seems like Origins might even be worth the splurge! Thanks for the review!
