ZoneAlarm 2.6 is a very easy and reliable firewall. I rest easy (somewhat) knowing that I have this program on my computer. When I had my cable modem installed, installing ZoneAlarm was the first thing I did. I did plenty of research at different web sites concerning firewalls and ZoneAlarm was consistently the best software out there. Setup of the program can be tricky at first, but once you get the hang of it it's a snap. Also, if you have any problems just visit their web site and use there online documentation for further guidance. I must admit, however, that their web site was somewhat difficult to navigate. Also, Zone Labs is trying to get you to buy their full firewall version ZoneAlarm Pro 2.6. It has quite a few extra features not included in the free software package. But for basic firewall protection, it is enough.
