Hi Tim! I don't think Hollywood really has a handle on what chicks like. That's one reason I wanted to get some girls to pitch in with lists. Most of the women I know give me great ideas for movies I would enjoy. Those are what I call CHICK FLICKS--the ones we really do watch and love. Generally, our guys like the ones we really love too. It's a shame that the industry throws together crap with female leads and then figure we'll watch them and be happy.

I'm a testosterone pumping, beer chuggin', action movie lovin' son of a . . .kind of guy, and I like most of the movies on your list.
Whenever I see "chick flick" I can't help but cringe ussually, as I'm reminded of dreck like One Fine Day or Sleepless in Seattle. I don't think I've ever seen Bad News Bears on any chick flick list. Or have even HEARD it mentioned for that matter.
Beneath my hard exterior I do have a soft spot for the better films in the genre, and you picked an almost perfect batch.

BUTTTTTTTTTTTTT I've ALWAYS been the baby ~ okay maybe be a few minutes to one but the rest are all older!
Of course, I'm probably the oldest of the three so I guess I could handle not being the baby but I still want to get my way!
Hey if I'm an older sister, I get to be the boss ~YEA, this might work out!!
Off to London to see the Queen (well her house anyway)so you'll need to hold down the fort until I get back!

Well, I've always been the evil older sister. Just ask my little sister. She will probably go on Oprah and tell all my sins one of these days. I don't know why she can't get over me telling her those ants on the tree were chocolate covered.
But, yeah . . . I'm game for another younger sister as long as I get the biggest cookie and first dibs on the shower.

I am getting mixed signals here, at the pimpatorium you said ALL ARE INVITED TO PLAY, but in the review you say CHICKS ONLY. This leaves me befuddled, but, dammit, I wanna play!

YEP (-: I had brothers you see. Some fun bad girl tricks include putting jock straps in the freezor, laying a sheet of Saran Wrap over the toilet and under the rim (for those you don't lift), and putting your peas on their plates when they aren't looking.

Hey, not too shabby :) If there ever were a Chick Flick list, I'd even put one in! Almost anytime someone mentions chick flicks though, the first one I think of is "While You Were Sleeping". Then maybe "Untamed Heart". Still I have very little "experience" in the movies area, I got a lotta catching up to do!

Guess what. I had two numbered 6, so you ended up giving me 4 of 10 vs 3 of 10. You were warned. Girls will trip you up every time. Though the numbers are now sorted, it shall go on the record that Vormancian had to score me 4.
Since you peeped in the window at the girl's slumber party, we're putting you in charge of making Chick Flicks happen. After that, the girls would like categories for most comfortable thongs, best vehicles when you have to haul kids across town, and an editorial space called "What women really want in bed."

Gosh Gary. You forgot that chicks are math challenged. Actually I do have 10 films, but I numbered two of them 6 to keep everyone on their toes (and since that freaky Word program always seems to mess me up when it thinks for me). I got the numbering fixed now. Thank goodness I don't have to add the numbers or multiply them, or you would all be in trouble. When I helped Eli with his 4th grade math homework he made a low B.
