Hello Connie! (Reply to this comment)

I had to come and read your list after reading "my two girl's" (Cyndi and 2buzy) and after Kristy had you down as their long lost cousin, I knew I'd like you!
I like a lot of the movies you wrote about and it has been too long since I watched them - thanks for the reminder!

My wife has probably watched "Dirty Dancing" no less than 20 times since we've been married. I just sit out on the porch, smoking cigarettes and plotting against Patrick Swayze.
I shall not let her read your review. She would then want to watch it again.
You are very dangerous to my marriage.

Hi Connie! Yes, it was at Djangos. Use the code (ends the 14th I think) and get the free shipping too!
It was one of the two I paid the $4.99 for the rest were $2.99 ~ I'm such a cheapie! LOL

And I don't mean chips and Dips!
This was great, Connie, I really enjoyed it and discovered that I've missed half of the list, so you've given me some to strive for.
You gals have done a great job on this and have created a lot of excitement among us Epinionators!
I love the ideas and the rundowns on the different flicks.
Great!

Kristy,
We're did you find it for that price? I just saw your Djangos review--was it there? I just bought a ski movie from my son from Amazon but I have a $25 Gift Certificate I need to use for myself--can't decide which movie to get!
While surfing Amazon I realized I forgot a couple of my favorites:
Jungle Fever---yum!
Westside Story - classic
Thanks!

*giggle* Connie--I don't do a cross check so wouldn't know if you did or didn't WOT on earlier. Mine is long because I've been around for ages (but not dating back to the real glory days here). Folks cruise through and write a review, read, WOT and then disappear. So, the long list is kind of a problem. It's hard to find the current folks. I use my WOT list for reading at times, so it's more of a list of people writing now that I love plus a few favorites including a couple of folks who died. That has been hard to see a few members get real sick here and not get well.
A movie watch would be so fun. It would be hard to do on NetFlix with the mail thing, but maybe some of the girls here could watch one from Blockbuster and then talk and put up reviews. That is a neat idea.
Any suggestions?

"...and so many that I love watching alone as well. Darn, I still haven't seen Moulin Rouge. The only one that I would add is 'Bridges of Madison County' that one melts me every time! "
Kath,
I love Bridges as well--another movie that is either loved or hated by the masses. Moulin Rouge fits into that category as well--but if just sit back and enjoy it and don't worry about the flaws it's amazing.
Thanks for the kind comments and for reading my stuff!
Sincerely,
Connie

Cyndi,
Thanks for the comments and for starting the list! We can still have an Epinions chick flick night--just pick the movie, the night and we'll watch it together and chat during or after. And eat of course! Im home most Friday and Saturday nights (whichever one my husband is working) hanging out here.
Thanks for adding me to your WOT. I appreciate it and sorry I didn't add you earlier as well. I shy away from the people who have hundreds as I think I'll get lost in a sea of people. I noticed you long ago because you look exactly like my new bossshes incredibly kind and funny as you are, and you write beautifully as well.
Thanks again for starting all this fun--it was great to look back on the movies I've adored.

OOPS (Reply to this comment)

I thought I had you on trust list, but I just noticed that I didn't. I've really enjoyed your work and know your name and know I like your reviews when I see you pop up. If other members (esp the long termers) are like me, then they miss stuff like that. I think sometimes the trust list causes a lot of stress, but it seems to sort out over time. When I'm reading and enjoying, then I keep doing that and I trust when I notice that too. Really, I just wanted to put that out for any new folks. Don't worry on the list. Just have fun.

Great! I haven't seen half of these, but I have NetFlix now. I'm bookmarking your list and watching your favorite movies as they send them out to my house.
You were the inspiration for the Chick Flick list. When you said you liked the idea of the Tortilla Soup video with the 7 layer dip, then I thought about a list. I've never done one and don't know if I'll do another. It takes longer than I thought to sort all that out and make the picks. But, it was fun.
Actually, I thought they might have a category for this. But, I sure didn't see one. I'll link up the girls who do this on my review too. Maybe we can get some good video picks lined up. Now if we could figure out a way to share the chips and dip (-:
