The Bottom Line Go ahead, dig in; if you dare.

During the long winter months where I live, I tend to watch a lot of movies, so here's a short list of film oddities sure to entertain one way or another. These are movies that might gross you out, make you laugh or make you think twice about taking me up on a movie recommendation again, haha.
Some are hard to find but all are worth seeing if you're into strange movies. Have fun.

Meet The Feebles
This is Peter Jackson's deranged epic of puppet mayhem. This movie is so cool and original, never before have I seen puppets doing drugs, having sex or killing eachother. Awesome.

Cube
A group of people find themselves trapped inside a giant maze like cube with thousands of trap filled rooms. They must find a way out and at the same time try to work together (each one has a skill that aids the chances for escape). Lots of backstabbing, problem solving and cool death scenes.

Naked Blood
This is a sweet Japanese flick about a young guy who creates a new painkiller. The drug is unknowingly injected into 3 women with horrifying results. Any pain they feel is transformed into pleasure, so they begin to self inflict bodily harm. Very surreal imagery and graphic gore make this a strange but cool experience.

Mermaid In A Manhole
An artist finds a rotting mermaid in the sewer and takes it home to try to heal it. Well the creature develops sores that burst multi colored pus that the guy uses to paint with. Lots of other gooey surprises await you in this extremely gross but highly original Japanese film. Check it out.

Street Trash
Street bums get a hold of some mysterious booze and melt and explode in brilliant colors when they drink it. Would you believe it? Right up there with the Toxic Avenger. Cool stuff.

Master Of The Flying Guillotine
An old style kung fu movie that has a blind guy looking to take revenge on a one armed boxer. This one is crazy, with lots of cool fight scenes and of course decapitations by a basket with metal teeth around the bottom edge. It doesn't get much better.

Pink Flamingos
Funny 70s trailer park trash filth fest that has sex with a chicken, dog poop eating, incest and even cannibalism. A wacky and sleazy good time, if you are freak like me!

From Beyond
A horror movie with more slime than Aliens and more craziness than Re-Animator. If mutants and monsters are your thing then check this one out, you won't be disappointed.

Back From The Dead
Australian cannibal comedy with lots of gross out humor and splatstick style gore. Ever see someone sucking brains through a straw? This one's sure to freak out your friends.
You won't find this on Amazon!

The Seventh Curse
Indiana Jones meets Godzilla meets a Japanese action flick. Voodoo sacrifices, monsters, kung fu, gore, it's all here.

Bad Taste
It only seems fitting to end the list with another Peter Jackson flick, this time vomit slurping aliens are in search of human meat to supply their fast food chain. Nice combination of a Rambo-esque shoot out, a chainsaw wielding psycho, low budget antics and exploding sheep, this is a cult clas-sick sure to please!

Hope you enjoyed the list, more on the way soon!
