Pros:Absolutely gorgeous, decent audio quality
Cons:Menu lag, Cost, Web/Music bugs, average resolution/small display, no flash, no external LED, crappy camera
The Bottom Line: This phone looks great, but needs some improvements.

Beautiful too look at, but hard to live with.

I love my cell phones.
And don't get me wrong, this one is a looker!
The Motorola K1m Krzr for Sprint is shiny and very reflective, with a nice flat mineral glass covering on the front. Ultra cool looking.
The Motorola K1M Krzr also has a rubberized backing that is easy to grip.
And did I mention, it is ooooo sooo shiny...I ...could...not..resist it.
Simply put:
The Motorola K1m Krazr is the hottest looking phone currently available.

I have lived with the Motorola Krazr K1M for two months now. And despite the phone's good looks, I am sending it back.
Turns out, beauty is only skin deep as far as this phone is concerned.

The problem with this phone, is not in the design so much as the function.
(Tho I do find the keys are designed too small for those who have even average sized hands)

My biggest grip by far is the menu Lag.
My last phone was a Samsung A-900,
(which I reviewed last year, here: http://www.epinions.com/content_223059021444)
Comparatively, The Krzr is quite sluggish.
Press a menu button on the Krzr and wait, and wait, then comes your page.

The primary display is only average at 65k..And quite small.
The external display is even smaller.
There is no flash.
There is no external led that blinks to let you know you have a message. (this is something I miss a lot)
The MicroSD card slot is inconveniently located.
The 1.3-megapixel camera takes sightly sub par pics, sorta dark and grainy.
My experience using the Power Vision streaming video service and music store for music downloads was not good.
After multiple attempts to resolve the error messages I would get, sprint sent me a second phone.
This phone had the exact same problems, as well as an inability to update the phones software.

The Krzr has a rated talk time battery life of 3.5 hours.
I had many more drop calls with this phone, compared to my last phone, the Samsung A-900.
I also do not care for the fact that you must use a special mini usb cable or have bluetooth enabled computer to transfer music files to or from this phone.
On the plus side, both Krazr's did have decent audio quaily.

Sprint just began carrying Motorola again in 2006.
(sprint carried motorola many years ago)
The Krzr & Razr are the first Motorola offerings to Sprint customers. So expect a lot of bugs.
I had two of these Krzr's. Both had bugs.
Thus, I decided to go back and try samsung again.
Here is my review of the Samsung M-610: http://www.epinions.com/content_319845207684
Sorry, Krzr:
You are a hottie, but because of your menu lag, small/average display, no flash, and crappy camera, I think I can do better.
