I switched from Powertel to Sprint, this was the worse consumer decision I have made in years. Sprint is horrible. The footprint for Powertel and Sprint in this area is largely similar on their maps, however Powertel's is based upon fact, Sprint's upon wishful thinking. You will have dropped calls standing still and will be driving in the middle of what is represented as yellow on their maps, and detect no signal whatsoever. Then after calling customer service and waiting 15-20 minutes to talk to someone you will be told that they are working on it and they do not have a system that records bad coverage complaints geographically. (When I called Powertel about a bad area they asked for the milemarker and had it fixed in a week.) PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP WITH SPRINT, YOU WILL BE SORRY!!!!!!
