"...and was prone to wear the same outfit two days in a row (three if necessary)."

As long as you changed your underthings, I reckon that's acceptable.

Enjoyed your list...and glad you mentioned "Your Song." I was a senior in high school when that came out, and I've never stopped loving it.

Very nice selections! You know women LOVE it when men they care about make mixes for them, right?!

Everytime I hear Anne's Song by Faith No More, it reminds me of one of my best male friends--- it's a great way to get- and stay- in her heart and mind!

Yeah, I think you should go back to the mix tapes. The stripping wasn't turning anybody on...

Moose,

Today I wish I wasn't married--we live close, can I send you one well-worn but attractive 41-year old? I need a vacation.

michael,

please stop harrassing me. you advisors think you can just pick on whoever you want. well think again. you can have your loonies, i don't want them. now please leave me alone and focus on that toaster review.

well, i guess it was my wooing method. as you know, my current wooing method is being a stripper.

but even stripper's need mix tapes, or they're stuck dancing to "Let's Get it On" and then sitting around your bedroom all awkward like.

Hey, sexy mix tapes can work on guys to, right? Not just for them?

oh and how. just as long as they don't have any mariah carey songs on them, they should work.

I haven't heard all these songs, but the ones I have...mm, good choices. The Luckiest and The Scientist both struck me the first time I heard each of the albums. I think I just might have to download the ones I haven't heard. Hey, sexy mix tapes can work on guys to, right? Not just for them?

Excellent mix.

This girl once told me that all guys have their own wooing methods. Yours is mix tapes! I'm glad it works for you. Actually, it worked for my housemate's boyfriend, as well.

Go get 'em, Tiger!

PS I love Phil Spector. The Wall of Sound will always give me chills even if he is a murderer.

Chad,

God Only Knows - The Beach Boys
Jealous Guy - John Lennon

Without a doubt, the best songs Brian Wilson and John Lennon ever wrote. I thought this before reading your list, and now it is confirmed for me. (Also much fun to sing and play on acoustic gee-tar).

Say Yes - Elliott Smith

I didn't for a long time, but I'm now starting to see the appeal of Mr. Smith. A friend made me a burnt CD of his first album (mainly because I wanted "Needle in the Hay" and have yet to pick up the Royal Tenenbaums soundtrack). Bonus points: she stuck Elliott's cover version of "Jealous Guy" on there, too. Sweet!

The Luckiest - Ben Folds Five

I guess it was a BF5 reference. Whatever and ever amen, indeed.
