This is the second part of a submission for Stockholders Idiot Bashing Write-Off, which we are dedicating to his son in law. ***** Sorry its taken so long to end This bashing of people I might have called’ friend’ I know you’ve been waiting with bated breath To discover WHICH idiots to bludgeon to death! If you are thinking that time runs in a line It may work for you, in fact that is fine But for me I will jump in a flashing back mode Don’t worry too much, it won’t be in code. IDIOT FOUR I met him in high school my senior year He thought he was inspiring respect and fear. He was the school principal, gym teacher as well I am sure that by now he is rotting in Hell. He hated me somehow, thought I was too brash, so he took it upon himself to bash- He critiqued my walk as I bounced up to receive An award for scholarly work, I believe He said in short, that I walked like a boy would, And I’d never go far, ‘Cause I just never could My attitude, he said made his toenails curl! If I wanted a life, I had to act like a girl It crushed for a second, but my parting shot was “screw you, you a-s-s wipe, you bucket of snot!” As it turns out sadly, in a way he was right It was the way that he said it that caused the fight. IDIOT FIVE This particular idiot changed my whole life By being uncaring, it cut like a knife. When I was a kid, I could see nothing worse Than the helping profession, or being a nurse. I liked solving problems, and thought of med school I could keep some distance, besides it was cool. But that all would change when the labor pains started (Mom had told me that they really smarted) But the nurse was so rude, and ignored every call, and I delivered my daughter out in the hall. They continued this nonsense about her next meal I was planning to breast feed, what was the deal? They gave her a bottle, “You got nothing!”, they said And left me alone, caged in a bed. In hours I knew that I couldn’t stay So I took my sweet baby and left AMA. When I went to school to be a nurse It was because of this miserable curse. I know what its like to need some good care, And my patients would have it, if I was there. (You think maybe this is self serving tripe? Maybe it is, though I’m not the type.) I call as I see it, and on the double which explains why I am nearly always in trouble. THE FINAL IDIOT- (OR THE IDIOT WITH GOOD INTENTIONS, BUT....) Here’s one you’ll love, because you will see You know someone like this, (I hope its’ not me) Its someone that adds the extra “but” to qualify praise and thus twist your gut. Like” This so wonderful, BUT it could have been better If you did it like I did , right here in my letter” Or” That’s a wonderful drawing, BUT you should stop now! “You a great artist? Please tell me how!?” “Medical school? BUT you just aren’t that smart! You’d fail in a minute, it’s not your part.” There isn’t a name to this last idiot here because all faces change, year after year. This is the one that I think we ALL fit, as we peddle our unique brand of happy horse sh*t We all have our plans or personal schemes But we act like jerks, when we short circuit dreams. Enough of the idiots who may have changed, Me into someone really deranged.- Maybe I’ll learn to NOT call a name before I am certain that I’m not the SAME. (As the other idiots.)
