I've been an Aromaleigh customer for several years and have seen this small company grow and expand from a one-woman show to a successful small company. Aromaleigh has a great selection of mineral cosmetics and very fast service. The quality of the products is excellent and has earned my loyalty!
Service is extremely fast and sometimes my order has shipped out the same day, even. Handwritten thank you's on the order is a special touch. Frequent sales and coupons are great incentive! E-mail's are responded to promptly. A lost order was replaced right away (not Aromaleigh's fault). An item left out of a large order was shipped immediately.
You receive three free samples with each order. Very nice! Aromaleigh also has samples available of all of their products and the samples make it easy to figure out what colors and products work for you. Especially their foundations. They have a vast color range, something which attracted me to their product in the first place. Unlike some mineral makeup lines, Aromaleigh offers several foundation tones, such as Pink, Warm, Cool, Yellow, etc... and then shade levels within these tones, like ivory, light, medium, deep. You choose your tone and your level to find your correct shade. While some reviews here mention this is confusing, I find it to be very intuitive.
Determine the "level", or darkness of your skintone- and then determine what "color" you are. Are you yellowish? Or pinkish? Or neutral? Not sure? Then try a few samples in what you think the ballpark might be. The good thing about minerals is that a few colors might work for you. Mineral foundations are designed to cover your flaws while still allowing your natural skin to show through. The makeup is never supposed to look like you are wearing a mask.
Aromaleigh has so many eyeshadow colors that you might be overwhelmed. This is a good thing, not a criticism. The beautiful thing is that you can try samples of all. Aromaleigh also makes it easy to try samples by packaging their eyeshadow collections in "sets".
Their website is very easy to navigate and their checkout is through Yahoo! Shopping, so it is a very standard and simple checkout system that I have found at many online stores. It is also secure.
My Aromaleigh orders have always arrived beautifully packaged in colorful tissue with a nice sticker, in a secure box or bubblewrap mailer. One package got lost, but was replaced by Aromaleigh. All orders have been accurate except for one, where an item was missing and Aromaleigh sent the missing item right out, and all correspondences were polite and professional.
Aromaleigh has a customer forum where you can discuss products, chat with the creator of the products and get advice on the products). This forum is a great place to get color advice and talk about new color combos, etc. It has a very friendly atmosphere, not catty like most beauty forums on the internet. I strongly recommend using ARomaleigh's forum to learn about the products and what colors might be right for you if you are new to the line. Aromaleigh has forum "concierges" who are there to welcome you and help you if you are new.
Overall, I am and have been a satisfied Aromaleigh customer for years. The company has always done right by me and I give them five stars on all accounts. Bravo!
