Rule of thumb: anybody who tells you he's a playa probably is not... it's those shy, polite folks that are the freakiest. Me? I'm just pretending while on the longest streak of celibacy since the first 17 years of my life (I'll tell you it's by choice... of course)

I could never cope with "chat up" lines, but I had a buddy who was pretty squat and ugly who got lots of lurve, just using his standard heap of words which usually involved talking about shooting stars! Guess the light pollution has got too bad for that particular old chestnut these days!!
Nice contrast between "effort" and "frustration" -takes me back nicely!
