This operating system works well if you are a home user who doesn't require a very safe up to date OS. I think this is a very good OS but why use it at all it is way out of date and not as safe or easy as some of the newer OS's. I am a computer expert and this OS isn't as safe as all of the newer OS's, if you are afraid of hackers (as I am) please don't buy 95. It doesn't have all of the security features of Windows ME or XP. For office use I would recommend office XP or Windows 2000 pro. They are much safer than 95 by a long shot. If you are a home user then I recommned Windows ME or XP home. For those of you that don't know, XP is the very latest Windows OS on the market. It comes in home or office version.
I am a computer security specialist and I have had hackers test my security systems and try to find out my level of safety and if there are any holes in my security. He found out that Windows 95 and 98 machines are putting my whole network at risk because a hacker can hack a weaker 95 or 98 machine and gain access to a whole network! I replaced all of the 95 and 98 machines with Windows 2000 and found that my network was 68% less prone to hacking attacks.
Sure you can still use 95 don't get me wrong I'm just suggesting that you use a more up to date (safer OS) system.
