Good list, except I do like the worst albums a lot. I dissagree with you saying you have to be a girl or gay to like a Ja Rule song.

Thanks, even though this is dated and my opinions have changed.

And no, Not really, ive never liked the Special Delivery Remix. Everybody on the track is whack, and shows how untalented Bad Boy is.

Thanks,
Big D

Good Review, although I found Nas, Canibus and Em's stuff much better than Kweli personally.
No matter. You did your research and it shows.

As for the worse of section, besides the politically incorrect profusious homo talk, you had me laughing quite a bit there!

But tell me one thing. You liked the special delivery remix didn't you? Come on, honestly?

We have to find SOME redeeming value in this commercial c.r.a.p.

I will admit Puffy was a very talented producer in the early days of Bad Boy in 1994-1998. But after that, he completely crossed over.. COMPLETELY, without Biggie to keep him street, he has to resort to dancing and being gay. So i dont respect him anymore like i did during the Biggie era of hip hop. As for the other commercial rappers. I HATE THEM!

I will not jump on you, because you gave a valid opinion. I loved the Talib Kweli album, and Gun Music wasnt about gun play, it was about senseless street violence and a socially conscious way to stop it. Though Quality isnt as good as the previous releases from Black Star and Reflection Eternal, he still delivered with an amazing and purely hip hop album.

As for the namecallin. I apologize if i offended any homos. I am not homophobic, but i really honestly do hate these guys. Im a real hip hop purist and it really hurts me that the industry has been reduced to this. So to you, i apologize.

As for my grammar... im from the streets, so i like it. =)

Nelly is to rap... (Reply to this comment)

...what Kenny G is to jazz. Bland and unoriginal. And what's up with the permanent cheek wound? Is he trying to make Band-Aids fashionable?

Great review,

Damn right... (Reply to this comment)

...about P. Diddy and Nelly. Nelly's songs are so commercialized and he can't rap to save his life. P. Diddy should just leave the music scene altogether.

Great review.

Hey Thanks.. Id like to see your list too...

i Havent heard Thurston, but heard good things about it. I heard both good and bad from the Executioners, and i have heard Emergency Rations, but to me it didnt make it in the top 20. Maybe like... 23 or somethin... I added that last section in there for laughs and to try to get people to understand my hatred for commercial hip hop. Anyways... Thanks a lot...
