Thanks for the update. I've been wondering about the state of NIN ever since the "official" website fell into its current state of disrepair. It's interesting to see the business side of things, here.

The NIN Hotline is pretty much the only news place for NIN now lately. SLS is pretty much dead since Evan has received criticism from a lot of people in the NIN Internet community since he said a lot of bad things about NIN and the band's Official Website master. Another news site, NIN News (www.nineinchnailsnews.com/) by Kevin Masse is currently on a rebuilding stage. I haven't gone to any NIN sites in a while due to inactivity.

As for "Still". Yes, it's a companion disc to the deluxe version of AATCHB but also an Internet release for those who only bought the actual live album that can be sold at www.nin.com/still, I not only consider "Still" a companion disc but I really consider it more as a transitional release since the music on that record is likely the next direction NIN will be doing as stated by drummer Jerome Dillon.

i can't wait for the new album either, though i'm now conditioned to wait at least five years before i start getting antsy for it.

btw, didn't "still" start as the companion disc to AATCHB?

Great writeup, very informative, um, information on a band I don't see nearly enough news on. you may have covered this at some point, but what is your nine inch nails homepage of choice? are there any out there with decent news? SLS seems pretty much dead.

anyway, like i said, fantastic job.

Well, you might have to wait longer. Probably late this year or early next year.

As always, I've really enjoyed reading your writing.

I can't wait to walk into Rasputin's (in the Bay Area) and get NIN's new album . . .
