The Bottom Line Watch all of these movies. i am a horror flick enthusiast and would only put the best.

I'm not real big on slasher films or the ones that only make you jump 2 times through the whole movie...but films that make you think...they are the ones that strike to the depths and make you get funny feelings. i tried to come up with as many scary movies as i could, making sure they were good ones.

(1). The Changeling --- Kinda slow at first, but it's worth it. The movie sorta puts you in the actual setting. I won't tell you the whole mystery behind the ghost that freaks out the old man resident of the house.

(2). Prince of Darkness --- A bunch of strangers are trapped in a building where there is some strange thing downstairs, perhaps a doorway to evil. outside of the building are freaky zombies that scare the crap out of ya. alice cooper is in this movie as one of the zombies if i can remember right.

(3). Exorcist III --- I hope you've seen the first one at least. this movie has some weird devilish scenes in it. with the same star that played in "The Changeling", this movie also has Patrick Ewing in it as an angel. i might as well have put this one first. definitely a must see.

(4). In the Mouth of Madness --- I've seen this a few times with my brother. great movie with a great plot. some dude named sutter cain writes some books that happen to be best sellers. he turns up missing and two people go to find out what the deal is. the part that is probably the scariest is where the two investigators hit a pale skinned old man on a bike. when they look at the man laying in the road, he says (in the voice of 12 year old boy), "he won't let me out". it's always a good one to watch.

(5). The Serpent and the Rainbow --- This movie takes place somewhere in africa. it has to do with some voodoo type stuff and a drug that makes you seem like you're dead when you really are not. this has got some really good parts in it...especially when the guy has a few dreams. you won't know they are dreams though.

(6). The Ring --- I was supposed to watch this movie in the theater with a friend but he couldn't go. so i went by myself and sat in the very back. I don't know exactly what was scariest about this movie but i left with this erie feeling in my chest.

(7). The Devil's Advocate --- I wish TNT would quit playing this movie. they always have to skip the best parts of the movie. everytime i put a new movie on this list, i realize that not one of these is any better than the other. this movie is awesome though, with keanu reeves and al pacino.

(8). Night Breed --- This movie should be best known for it's awesome monsters. i don't know how hard it is to find in video stores because i haven't seen it forever.

(9). Phantasm 2 --- If you seen one of 'em, you've seen 'em all. The old man is pretty scary in this movie. I became frightened of morgues and mausoleums from this movie.

(10). Fire in the Sky --- This movie i think is a true story. one man is thought to have been murdered by his friends but they all know different...he was abducted by aliens. i like this movie alot. it makes alien abduction seem freaky.

That's all of them. i hope you watch them all, if you haven't seem some of them already.
