Great article! 2 spray bottles fantastic! (Reply to this comment)

Very informative and humorous at the same time!
We use the 2 bottles of spray for everything at home - cleaning counters, the bathroom, food, baby toys that fell on the floor, everything! As far as I know, it's as effective as bleach and much safer for you and the environment. Thanks!

Here is the article that I learned about this from:

When we wuz little, we used to load hydrogen peroxide in our super soakers and paint each other's hair and eyeballs.

Not really.. but it still sounds fun.

...can also be applied, using a cotton ball, to scorch marks on white fabric. I've saved many a shirt from the going to the trash bin after I lifted the scorch marks out with this little remedy.

Great review!

I really enjoyed reading your thorough review. I appreciate the time you took to include the history of it, shelf life, common uses, and not-so-common uses!

I can't imagine how anyone could possibly write a more helpful review on the subject!

I saw that somewhere, a capful in the ear prevents the water from staying in the canal - or so it said.

Great Review on H2O2. A quick comment though. I'm not sure about intergrated circuits, but I do know that when wafers are being cleaned, sulfuric acid is what is used to do the cleaning. The 30% solution of peroxide is generally mixed with salicylic acid and is used to remove various metals from the wafer. The salicylic acid helps to control the reaction from being to intense. The wafers must also go through hydrofluoric acid to complete the cleaning. It's boring, but thought I'd add a little info. Great review!

Wow! Thanks for all the great research that went into this.

My husband uses HP like it's going out of style. One use - after swimming, he uses it in his EARS, of all things. He claims it helps prevent infections and helps to dry them out. (from a squirt bottle - straight) No more swimming earaches.

This was great reading.

Another amazing read on a product I have always taken for granted. Once, I scraped about 4 inches of skin off my leg in a bike wreck, and Peroxide became my best friend during that time... never underestimate the power of this stuff.

Great information, thanks for the chemistry lesson! :)
