WE BOOKED THE IRISH HERITAGE WITH GALWAY EXTENSION TOUR. WHEN I CALLED I GAVE HIM THE FAST DEAL # RIGHT OFF THEIR WEBSITE. HE WAS VERY POLITE AND I THOUGHT HE KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING. WHEN I RECEIVED MY CONFIRMATION E-MAIL I LOOKED TO MAKE SURE THAT OUR NAMES WHERE SPELLED CORRECTLY AND OUR DATE OF BIRTH WAS RIGHT. THERE REALLY WASN'T MUCH ELSE ON THERE.. THE PACKAGE PRICE, AIR, ETC. TRAVEL DETAILS SAID IRISH HERITAGE WHICH I ASSUMED WAS RIGHT. THAT WAS IN SEPT. I DIDN'T CATCH HIS MISTAKE UNTIL THE FIRST OF FEB. I THEN WAS LOOKING AT ANOTHER SITE THAT HAD MORE DETAILS ON MY TOUR. GUESS WHAT! I DIDN'T GET THE GALWAY EXTENSION, ALL I GOT WAS THE IRISH HERITAGE. SO I CALLED AND TALKED TO A MANAGER, SHE WAS VERY NICE, BUT SINCE I DIDN'T CATCH THE FACT THAT THE OTHER GUY SCREWED UP, NOTHING CAN BE DONE...HE ALSO BOOKED THE HOTEL FOR THE FIRST NIGHT AS PREHOTEL CHECK IN, WHICH HE NEVER TOLD US ABOUT....
SO BASICALY WE PAID FULL PRICE FOR 9 DAY TRIP , GOT 8 , AND HAD TO PAY FOR A EXTRA NIGHT AT THE HOTEL.
I DON'T KNOW WHY THEY HAVE FASTDEAL# IF THE DON'T USE THEM...
THEY SEEM VERY FRIENDLY BUT DO THEY KNOW THERE STUFF??
MY ONCE IN A LIFE TIME TRIP IS NOW CUT SHORT....
I have e-mailed Allan Fox, who then had a manager e-mail me back. They are reimbursing my pre tour night and giving me 5% off my next tour. So even though I am out a day in my tour, They have followed through trying to make it right, that is something I appreciate. I recommend that you have whom ever you talk to.. repeat want you've ordered to make sure it's accurate.
