I've dealt with this company for years and have always been OK with them, though their $8.99 flat shipping makes it hard to deal with them on the small stuff.
I recently bought a "flight pack" for electronic RC flying. The picture purportedly showed what was in the pack, three servos, a speed control and a battery pack. The "fine print" in the tech notes said it came with two servos. Well, it came with two servos.
After 15 minutes of being on hold with the customer service rep (with her checking with the tech department and some sort of supervisor) they decided that the fine print "clearly states" that it comes with only two servos and that the mistake was mine. They'll fix their picture (they haven't yet) but it was my problem.
I'm all for not getting a free ride, but the on-line listing was blatantly misleading. The website has a bunch of little errors too; for example the plane that I bought requires an 8amp speed control but the "tech notes" say a 20amp (and more expensive) control is required. The crystal for the receiver that are linked are different than those linked to the receiver (same part number) that is listed separately.
Bottom line is they're OK if you know exactly what you need and know exactly what's in package, but you can't rely on their pictures or listing for accurate information. Very frustrating. I suppose they'd be happy to sell me a 10 gram $11 servo and ship it for $8.99, but they can keep it.
