Leonidas features fine Belgian chocolates. Usually, you can only enjoy Leonidas on a trip to Europe, or a major city like New York. Thanks to leonidas.com you can get your fine chocolate fix even if you live in the sticks.
Belgian chocolate, in my experience, is always expensive when you purchase it in the United States. This is because the chocolate has to be flown a large distance, special efforts are required to keep the chocolate fresh and to prevent melting. Now, add in some extra shipping to get the chocolate direct to your home or office, and this truly tempting treat becomes a pricey praline.
My order has always been accurate, fresh, and truly a taste-bud pleasing treasure. The packaging on the candy is exquisite, and it makes for a fantastic gift. If you do happen to buy Leonidas as a gift for someone, be certain to buy a box for yourself.
I have never found another chocolate I loved as much as Leonidas, and their online store, while pricey, is a convenience that makes me purchase the treat more often than I otherwise would have.
